MASTER BEDROOM AND EN-SUITE

A bed with a black and white patterned duvet cover. The design was put together by an interior designer in Shropshire.

About this Project

An extension resulted in a large ensuite bedroom.  The requirement was to create a luxurious, hotel-style retreat by blending industrial touches with natural elements. Key existing pieces — oak chests, floor lamps, and occasional chairs — were thoughtfully integrated to ground the space with warmth and character.

A stone-grey divan bed with a cushioned headboard and black lampshades brought timeless elegance, while large windows and gold-accented curtains in recycled velour  fabric framed the large picture windows beautifully.  Wood slat panels for behind the tv provided for a natural feature and ambience.

In the en-suite, I balanced raw textures and refined finishes. A combination of marble and slate effect tiles with rustic oak cabinetry introduced an urban edge, softened by greenery and fluted glass.

The result: a cohesive, calming sanctuary that feels both elevated and inviting.
