Rustic Industrial Kitchen

Project Overview

In this extension an open plan kitchen diner was desired, with a soft rustic industrial and indoor outdoor feel. With 3 windows in the kitchen there was plenty of light to absorb a darker colour and what could be better than an olive green to give depth and interest to this space.  Complemented by the bronze and off white cabinetry, this scheme is a real stand out look.  Flexibility in window dressing without costing a fortune led me to suggest day and night blinds which were made to measure and fitted by a local company.  Some accessories and dining table and seating already purchased and one brown leather armchair were to be used so it was important to integrate that into the design.  No specific colour way had been considered so this project started with a blank sheet of paper, although hot pink had to feature due to a piece of art that would sit in the dining room.  The kitchen design was mainly completed with the customer who sourced the kitchen through a local company for fitting.  Paint colours, floor and wall tiles, furniture accessories and lighting were all included in the styling process.
