Scandi(navian) style Lounge/Diner

Before pictures. The room is fairly blank and has poor lighting.

About this Project

A new home for a young family who wanted to create a cosy and warm lounge and dining room which was connected by double doors.  'Awkward' spaces and nooks created by previous extensions was a wonderful opportunity to add storage and character; with good furniture placement this helped to make use of the spaces.

The inspirations from the client mixed: country and scandi and they already had a rustic style dining table and chairs. and a sofa which needed to be included in the scheme.

In addition they wanted to 'style' the already decorated office and organise the furniture in a more useable way.

A neutral colour palette with a mix of modern country style furniture and scandi accessories bought this scheme together beautifully!

The result: 2 rooms which connect in every way from colour through to accessories, a lovely warm cosy but practical space.
